In the most recent tasting the wine revealed an intense, olive, herbal, minty component accompanied by exotic, over-ripe, jammy, cassis, and black-cherry fruit. It is lavishly oaked, full-bodied, and concentrated, but the intense herbaceousness often possessed by the Bonny's Vineyard cuvee puts some tasters off.
