The Clos de la Roche Grand Cru ’11 from La Pousse d’Or has a delightful bouquet with fine minerality percolating through the carapace of red cherries and cranberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine line of acidity. This is underpinned by fine tension. It feels a little pointed toward the finish but there is impressive persistence thanks to the dash of pepper on the aftertaste.
