 | Qty=1Size=750 ml, RP[91]"The 2010 Pinot Noir River Block comes across as a bit reticent at this stage. Dark cherries, menthol, sweet spices and licorice are woven together nicely but the wine nevertheless appears to be holding back much of its potential. Today the 2010 River Block isn’t as expressive as the other 2010s here, or the 2009s, but if the austere, angular contour softens and the fruit fills out, it may merit a higher score. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2020." - Antonio Galloni, robertparker.com (Dec 22, 2011) |
