 | Qty=2Size=750 ml, RP[94], ST[94], ST[94]"The 2017 Pinot Noir Summa Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1998. The wine aged 10 months in 33% new French oak. It's medium ruby in the glass with notes of woodsmoke, pipe tobacco, clove and cinnamon over wild blackberries, dried black cherries, charcuterie and underbrush, opening ever so slowly to red berry sparks and violet perfume with time in the glass. It's light to medium-bodied, intense and spicy with chalky tannins and juicy freshness, finishing long and layered. This is beautiful now but merits more time in bottle. 300 cases were made." - Erin Brooks, robertparker.com (Dec 19, 2019) |
