Mint, rosewater, anise, coffee and orange marmalade flesh out in an ample, resonant Champagne of rare distinction. The 1976 is rich and generous on the palate, with noticeable sweetness in both its flavor profile and overall shape. Then again, during this era dosage was 12-13 grams per liter, as opposed to the 9 grams or so that is typical today. All things considered, the 1976 is in great shape today.
