It starts off slow, then speeds up in terms of its aromatic delivery, and slows down once again to maintain a steady pace. Once it does, the bouquet reaches good balance with some dried fruit backed by licorice and dark mineral. My only hesitation with this wine is the unyielding oak tannin that is dusty and firm.
