 | Qty=2Size=750 ml, RP[90]"Didier Dagueneau is always slow to release his wines, and I have not yet tasted his 2005s. Judging from the two 2004 wines I tasted he certainly got the better of that tricky vintage, while capturing in his entry-level 2004 Blanc Fume de Pouilly the bright, high acidity and intense minerality possible in an inherently lean, well-watered year. A nose of fresh lime, sorrel and nettle leads to a pungently-concentrated, bracing palate, citric and herbal, with smoky, salty chalky mineral suggestions. This finishes long and penetrating, impressive if almost a bit strident." - David Schildknecht, robertparker.com (Aug 30, 2007) |
