 | Qty=1Size=750 ml"Once again this year, the "M" bottling comes from portions of the Loibenberg. Rhubarb, lemon zest, honey and persimmon inform a pungent aroma suggestive of a touch of botrytis. (A deeper color and higher alcohol than those of its predecessors would seem indicative of botrytis, too.) Full, glycerine-rich and brothy in the mouth. Intensely concentrated and a bit warm in the finish, with notes of peach, rhubarb, sage and mint. This lacks quite the subtlety of fruit and minerals and the textural allure of the Loibenberg or Kellerberg bottlings." - David Schildknecht, Vinous (January 2003) |
