| | Qty=3Size=750 ml, RP[97]"Jim Binns, proprietor at Andremily, notes that this Paso Robles-designated 2019 Syrah G2 Vineyard will be the only iteration made, as he continues to focus his portfolio on estate fruit and fruit purchased from vineyards in Santa Barbara County. It is blended with 12% Mourvèdre and was made with 55% whole clusters. It was matured for around 21 months in 60% new French barriques and 600-liter demi-muids and 40% used barriques. Opaque ruby-purple in color, it has gorgeous aromas of boysenberry and blackberry jam, loamy earth, aniseed, dried violets, salami and coffee beans, with savory undertones that emerge as it spends time in the glass. The full-bodied palate offers wave after wave of floral fruits supported by loads of grainy tannins and juicy bursts of acidity, and it has a very long, fragrant finish. Around 200 cases and a few magnums were made. The G2 will be sold as part of a three-bottle box set ($330), and the magnums will be delivered in a custom single-magnum box.
