High acidity on the palate is perplexing, but the wine possesses good body, extraction, and ripeness, as well as some bitterness in the finish. Time will tell if it becomes better balanced, but my instincts suggest the acidity will become more marked, and the fruit less charming. Anticipated maturity: now-2006.
