A barrel selection matured for 15 months in about 40% new French oak, initial wafts of saline and matchstick slowly give way to a deep core of yellow peach and lemongrass on the nose. The medium-bodied palate has a luxurious, satiny texture, seamless yet energetic acidity and highly concentrated fruits that blossom slowly as the wine glides into a tremendously long finish.
