It has pure aromas of blueberries, blackcurrant, violet and dark earth with nuances of fresh mint leaves, salami, licorice, garrigue and cracked pepper. Full-bodied yet light on its feet, the palate features restrained, graphite-laced fruit at this early stage. It has loads of powerful, rounded tannins and seamless freshness and is still coiled on the finish. It's a gorgeous Syrah that deserves another five years in bottle to unwind.
