 | | Qty=2Size=750 ml"This wine is surprisingly refined and soft for a Cornas, but the new oak has tamed some of the rusticity and harsh tannin that the Syrah planted on the roasted slopes of Cornas can possess. It offers up aromas of smoky, roasted, black fruit combined with scents of toasty new oak. In the mouth the wine is medium- to full-bodied and generous, with excellent ripeness, a supple, smooth texture, and a moderately long finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. Last tasted 11/94." - Robert Parker, robertparker.com (Dec 31, 1996) |
